Lucrèce Falcoz and the workshop Cymbeline have designed, modeled, tamed the threads of the models from the 2024 collections.
Manon Pascual & Anne De Lafforest, came to complement their respective talents
and their complementary universes these woven and tamed threads
in the secret of the Fontainebleau workshops.
Artistic Direction
Lucretia and the wedding dress, a love story that began more than 35 years ago. Cymbeline, our French fashion house, seduced her and imposed itself on her as an obvious choice. Close to the brides in the boutique in its early days, to today imagine the creations of tomorrow in the Fontainebleau style office. Her inspiration, Lucrèce defines it as emanating from the desire of brides, combining with the avant-garde and resolutely romantic style of Cymbeline. An assertive style, wonderfully illustrating the desire to be a woman of today, beautiful and in love.
The noble materials used to make the dresses of our French label also make their contribution, evoking a particular sensitivity, provoking emotion, the final bouquet of a creation.
A strong DNA, a creative force and the wishes of brides fulfilled, thanks to a pronounced taste for elegance and personalization. Cymbeline is more than a big name, it is also a creative team made up of seamstresses, pattern makers, finishers, embroiderers, who accompanies Lucrèce in the promise of a feminine, contemporary and Parisian collection.
THE CREATORS
Manon Pascual has been creating wedding dresses for over eighteen years. After a diploma in applied arts where she explored a large number of artistic craft professions, Manon Pascual settled in a small village near Bordeaux, to draw her inspiration. His work is a permanent search between balance and originality, elegance in the purity of lines. The technicality, the perfection of the cut, the hand finishes, the delicacy of the details, the originality, the respect for the morphology and the style, are for Manon, only simple timeless tools but necessary for the realization of her work, “The DNA of the brand is the vision of wedding fashion, straddling traditional values and the spirit of the times, originality is at the center of motivation, in the literal sense of the term”.
Anne and Blandine both gained their experience in the most coveted Parisian couture workshops. Anne de Lafforest is keen to highlight the know-how of French couture. Each collection is designed in Paris, in their workshop. Silk fabrics are selected for their quality, their drape and their delicate cream shades. Made from Lyonnaise or Italian silks, this selection guarantees Anne de Lafforest's models this unique and luxurious finish. One is a stylist, the other is a model maker. Both are driven by the same wish: to create a caring fashion house for Brides, an address that we go to because we feel good there. A major feature of Anne de Lafforest's identity, embroidery is carried out by seasoned and meticulous hands, sublimating each model with originality and delicacy.
