The Tahitian Cultured Pearl comes exclusively from the lagoons of French Polynesia, well known as the “Black Pearl”. Keshis are less well known, they are small, resolutely romantic “wild” pearls which are formed by rejecting the graft. It is only composed of mother-of-pearl, unlike Tahitian pearls where the mother-of-pearl encompasses a graft.
